BG1ESO SECCIÓN 20-25 de abril

Hello everyone,
Last week we learnt about birds through El Hombre y la Tierra.
This time we will be exploring reptiles in a new docummentary about the Galapago Islands.
Why are these islands so well known? Charles Darwin, one of the greatest biologogists of all times and my favourite scientist EVER, arrived there after a long journey from England. Many of his findings led him to propose the Theory of Evolution.
This is a short video on his life:
These islands are a paradise for reptilians, a vertebrate group characterised by the following traits:

This week's docummentary is called Wild Galapagos
These are your questions for this week.
1. Where (town) and when did Darwin's journey start?
2. Where did the Beagle go between 1831 and 1836?
3. Where are the Galapagos Islands? (full answer in the docummentary)
4. Which two ocean currents are key for life in the Galapagos Islands? Name them.
5. Choose one of the reptiles in the video (there are three at least) to create a new page for your Nature Journal. Follow the template (click here).
6. Send a picture of your answers and the Nature Journal to martamaja21@hotmail.es
Deadline: Monday, april 28th (included)
